About me
I have been involved in music ever since I learnt to play the Trumpet aged six. At school I was involved in bands and music production with contemporaries, as well as studying music at G.C.S.E and AS-Level. My love of music led me to a degree course studying Audio Engineering.
The course at Gateway not only taught me engineering and technical skills, but covered areas of the music and media industries including basic web and product design, marketing and promotion, licensing content and contract law. I was involved in the filming and promotion of a music video for the band Screamer On The Hill. This included building a website, marketing a digital single release and creating future opportunities for the band.
My present job at The Farm Group has taught me a great deal about the technical processes involved in production of Film, Music and TV, as well as giving me invaluable hands on experience. I understand the importance of good client relationships and working to tight deadlines as part of a team.
I started putting on music events whilst at University as part of the course and have continued doing so. I enjoy the logistics involved in organizing and promoting these events and have just started up a new bi-monthly night in East London called Interference.
Good communication skills, motivation and attention to detail when I work are all assets I can offer. My enthusiasm for Music and Media coupled with my technical ability and can do attitude makes me an invaluable member
