ABOUT
The Brief:
The Waste and Resources Action programme (WRAP) wanted to create the Household Food Waste Collections Guide, a report that contained the guidance for collection of household food waste. It needed to combine 12 different documents and provide a visually engaging, interactive and reader friendly design. WRAP also wanted to produce a summary report to go alongside the main report that was for elected members.
Concept:
The Household Food Waste Collections Guide provides guidance for local authorities on the collection of household food waste. It’s an 160 page interactive pdf document that allows you to easily navigate throughout the document.
The summary report has been produced for elected members, and summaries the key elements of the full report. It’s also a fully interactive pdf document.
Execution:
We created a full Food Waste Collections Guide and a Elected Members Summary Guide that included a mix of images, iconography and visual graphics to represent graphs and data, the final digital document containing interactive elements and interactive links.
Results:
Both the full Food Waste report and summary report have been completed and are now in active use.
