About me
My name is Jahvel Hall and I believe I will be an excellent addition to your creative team as a Junior Copywriter. My creative writing talents and exceptional IT skills, coupled with my desire to learn, make me an excellent candidate for this role. I have a keen interest for public relations and I will be a more than competent in fulfilling all that is required of me. I already know a fair amount about Streetcar, being a member myself. What I admire about Streetcar is your straightforward business strategy and outreaching car club membership. I would love to be part of a company that not only greatly benefits its members, but also the environment.
I have 2:1 in BA English with Drama and Theatre Studies, at Royal Holloway University of London. I have some previous experience within the media and marketing sector. I am exceedingly organised, believing that organisation and planning is essential. My English degree has given me the skills to edit and create written materials to a high standard, and the Drama side has given me the ability to express all my creativity in a desirable fashion. During university I have also written several articles and material for websites and newspapers, which will be very beneficial while at your company.
As stated in more depth on my CV, I was previously Head of Marketing for Insanity Radio, which meant I was in charge of all press and business relations. While at Insanity Radio I had liased with major corporations and local business such as Universal Pictures, Perfect Pizza and Subway, so I have the experience of working with managers and directors at high levels. As Head of Marketing I also had to sell the radio station to prospective advertisers through written materials. This gave me extensive experience in writing in a persuasive fashion, selling the great points of a company. Previous work placements mean I have vast experience in sales and costumer communications, working previously for the Office of National Statistics.
Although I have limited experience in writing for commercial outlets, I have been writing my whole life and I am very comfortable in expressing my many ideas in a written form. I am a quick learner with a lot of experience with social media outlets; I believe it is important in this industry to always be up to date with technology and new online forms of communication.
Your company sounds like a great place where I can learn new things and gain great experiences. I am not afraid of hard work and relish in helping and supporting others, in any way possible. My time management is admirable, I believe greatly in completing all work in an efficient and productive manner.
Overall I am a committed worker who can complete the tasks that I am set. I am a very friendly outgoing and approachable person who responds to the public well.
