Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to read my application. I am contacting you because I am a passionate designer that has traditional and digital skills.
I'm going to be honest this job has been exactly what I have been looking for. I have recently (a year ago) graduated with a first degree in Animation, and it'll be my uttermost dream to be a concept/storyboard/animating artist. I am really passionate about looking at art direction and styles of work. I even go to the cinema regularly to see what the latest is in design.
At this moment in time I am working in a school as an Art technician/ Art, Photography, Graphics and Textiles teacher. I am basically used around the art department to share my skills, and of course the school uses me to create posters for school events. However this as been great and rewarding as my first job out of university, but I really need to grasp my dream. I am a talented person, and I really am eager to learn new things. It is important to me to grasp my dream, I've worked hard for it so far and I am willing to work even harder.
My specialty is in drawing, and digitally converting artworks. I also take up hobbies such as lino printing, screen printing and various crafts. I am always breaching out for the next hobby to learn so that I can translate it into my artwork.
