About me

I have always been surrounded by Creativity; since I was 5 and I was painting and creating stories with my sister in the basement of my house I guess: but it was only after leaving a 5 years Master in Chemistry at the University of Siena that i've chosen Art as main focus of my life. I'm a self-learner, but I reached already a very good level. In the last years my comics have been published in several journals, such as Ilparere,​ my drawings have been used by the child development group at the School of Psychology, University of Reading, to conduct research on dyslexia, plus I've made a comic for the Night Of Researchers for the University Of Siena. My works have been presented at many expositions, such as Wednseday Aesthetic at Meetlife Cafe​, at Lombardi Arte Gallery in Siena, at the Maisonpheripherique​ Gallery in Paris, Roccart Gallery in Florence and at the collective Collide in Shoreditch London. I've worked as intern for CutItOut and as political cartoonist for the blog Angryitalian. I've also performed as live-painter at the white-night 2013 in Siena. Furthermore some of my poems have been included in the prestigious selection Enciclopedia di Poesia Contemporanea published by the Mario Luzi poetry contest. I was among the finalists at the poetry contest Il Giardino di Babuk 2015 and at the international poetry contest Premio Alda Merini 2015. My short story LoooP has been included in the book Trenta Racconti Italiani, I ranked third at the comics contest Two Faces of The Moon 2015 held in Bologna and my cartoon The Impassable Wall Of Knowledge has been selected among the best works of Humour A Gallarate Contest 2016 and exposed at the Maga Museum. Right now i'm working as freelance, plus I'm writing and drawing my very first graphic novel VoiD and my comic-strip Il Bosone Di JaC; furthermore i'm developing a sci-fi novel and a collection of short stories. I created also my own t-shirts and they have been sold (out) in a store in Siena (L'Apparenza​).
