Dear Sir/Madam,
I am applying for the position of Graphic Designer at your company, which I found on
I feel that I would be suitable for the role as I am passionate about design work, both through drawing by hand and using graphic design software. I am proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, fitting to your requirements. My course at university saw me produce a large number of relevant projects, ranging from magazines, newspapers and websites as well as various forms of advertisements such as posters and which had me working closely with typography and how it appeals to different niches. I am also proficient at using mac systems, having done so with a large number of projects as I also own one of my own.
Through my previous roles and work experience, I am used to having to deal with working under pressure and to a deadline, having to manage my time effectively in order to produce work of a high standard. An example of which, when filming a boxing documentary at Ipro Stadium, I had to work with my team in order to capture everything under a strict time limit, then edit the documentary and create supporting material before the deadline, working both individually and as a team.
Having just graduated, it would be an amazing opportunity to get into the industry and work on a professional level to develop my skills and learn more about graphic design to further my career.
