About me
I am a Product and Furniture Designer graduated last year from DeMontfort University, Leicester. I have been working as a model maker for the last year but am looking to move back into design. I am eager to explore either fields of design although my folio is currently weighted towards furniture, i am fluent in Photoshop, Alias Studio tools, Auto CAD, Microsoft office and learning Solidworks. As our course was geared towards design for manufacture, a sound understanding of manufacturing techniques as well as their limitations and bonuses were learnt by all.
I have a particular interest in sustainable design, and looking at the whole manufacturing process to try and reduce materials and energy costs to a minimum. I work well in a group or by myself an am happiest with a sketch pad and a tricky problem in front of me.
