About me
Dear Sir/Madam,
I'm a young animator from Bristol. Before the Christmas holidays I was working with Arthur Cox as a junior animator on the BAFTA-nominated Disney series, Nina Needs to go, and since then I've been working on a childrens short film, which I have been commissioned to direct and animate, called Freddy the frog.
After graduating from Northumbria University, where I studied Media production, I have been doing a bunch of stuff! Firstly I took my graduation film, Stickman to festivals all over the UK and America. I wrote, directed, animated and edited this film, and I even managed to win a nifty best director award from Southampton International Film Festival.
Although I feel most experienced in flash, I consider myself to be quite able in quite a few mediums. I have experience working with traditional animation, cut-out animation, Claymation, Flash, After Effects, Final Cut, Adobe Premier, Avid, Velocity, writing, directing, and even a bit of camera work. I feel I have used these skills to my advantage since graduating. I have been working as a runner at Films@59, however I've been greedy and done a number of freelance jobs on the side for companies like Aardman, A Productions, Threemotion, Sharkbiscuit, Arthur Cox and for the independent film, The Elusive Moose Hunt and BBN limited.
Anyway, before I end up writing a Biography here, I'll sign off - I'd really appreciate it if you gave my CV/website a look and considered me for the role.
In addition to this, I would love to show you guys the work I have recently done for Freddy the Frog, however for legal reasons I cannot put any of it online...
Thanks,
Jack Bennett
