About me

I am a 34-year-old graphic designer based in Southampton. I started my career after university working within print production, primarily as an artworker. Working within a print production environment gave me a wealth of knowledge and an in-depth understanding of designing for print.

There isn't much I haven't designed for, relating to printed materials. I understand the considerations that must be given to all aspects of physical print, whether a billboard, packaging or a business card. I know the importance of continuity concerning branding, colours, and materials. I also can appreciate the logistics of achieving printed products within varying time constraints and budgets.

Over the last six years, I have been working successfully in the hospitality industry as a freelance graphic designer, through a creative agency. This role has broadened my skill set to include an increasing amount of digital work, as well as some copywriting.

I have always had a desire to make information visually appealing. I am a visual learner so to communicate this way makes the most sense to me. I love taking words and transforming them into a visual that will engage and connect with people in a meaningful way.
