About me

From my earliest days in the crib, I longed for nothing more than to look at pictures and then draw them. I absorbed every picture book I could get my hands on - I read them all, drew them all, and I smelled all the pages.

Soon enough I discovered the amazing world of animation. I even tried to animate my own scenes only to discover that tracing 24 frames per second was easier seen than done. Eventually my ambitions set on illustration, and many broken pencils and torn up pictures later, I went on to create art for various picture books, activity books, games, and other products.

I consider myself most lucky to be able to do what I do. Quite often people carry their stories and ideas around for years before they finally gain the courage to manifest them. And when they come to me with a book or project, I am very much aware that what they come to me with are their very dreams, which I am most honored to help bring to life.
