About me

Dear Sirs,

I would like to apply for a position of a Language Coordinator. Please find attached herewith my CV that contains detailed information regarding my work experience and education.

I am a law graduate from the College of Law and also have BA and MA degrees in Linguistics from the University of Latvia and Goldsmiths College respectively. In addition to the mentioned degrees I am also planning to start my second MA degree in Media Studies in October this year (part-time.

As you would see from my CV, the major part of my work experience is within the legal area. However, all my legal positions (including the notarial assistant and legal assistant ones) have never been purely law oriented but also involved different creative writing and translation activities.

I am a creative person and enjoy writing and translating as well as conducting researches and communicating with people. For the past 11 years I have also been providing freelance translation services to different companies, including newspapers, law firms, banks, travel organisations, pharmaceutical companies and private individuals. The process of translation is a very demanding and challenging work that requires excellent research skills, ability to analyse information and resources, accuracy, creativity, writing skills and patience. Within the years of my work experience I have learned how to work under pressure, meet deadlines and work in a team and independently.

I would like to thank you for this great opportunity to apply for this position.

Thank you for considering my application.

Kind regards,

Irina Cernobrovaja
