About me

From 'in the works' to in print'.

I offer a full range of editing and book design services for non-fiction authors, academics and publishers. My approach is both structured and creative, focussed on bringing client projects from 'in the works' to 'in print'. My professional life began in the performing arts and progressed into journalism, PR, business, academia, publishing, and the charitable sector. Along the way, I achieved a diploma in therapeutic bodywork and a postgraduate certificate in Psychosynthesis leadership coaching. I love working with people to bring their ideas and projects to life. As an editor and designer, my focus is on excellence in written and spoken communications and innovation and beauty of design.

"Kathleen exemplifies the highest standards of accuracy, mastery of detail, and sophistication in the treatment of text. As a scholar with a long career of publications about the ancient Greco-Roman world, I highly recommend." Dr Roger Beck, Professor Emeritus, University of Toronto

"Kate is an excellent journalist and a thorough professional. Her copy was informed, intelligent, thoughtful and on time! She worked as a freelance Business Editor for me and was a great ambassador for the magazines I managed. A pleasure to work with." Joe Hosken, Content Marketing Director, Integrated Systems Europe (ISE)
