Inga's work

About Inga

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Inga, and I am a Kingston University MA Magazine Journalism graduate with several years of experience in journalism and communications sector.

My will and passion to succeed within media led me to moving to London seven years ago, and I managed to get two degrees since- BA in Music and Creative Writing, and an MA in Magazine Journalism. While studying, I have been working at the Virtual Festivals website, an online magazine which is focused on providing information and selling tickets to festival fanatics. My ability to produce engaging content led me to interviewing artists such as Katy B and Clare Maguire. I have developed an understanding of the CMS and the importance of sourcing pictures, regularly updating the website and expanding the circle of readers.

I have also been working as a translator for a Russian PR company, adopting my fluent Russian language skills. Other publications I have worked for included Country Living and Planet Ivy.

Throughout this study and work experience, I have gained indispensable writing skills, have interviewed several famous people and learnt to work under pressure whilst meeting deadlines. In addition, I have been working as a production editor during my university studies, where I gained knowledge about content management and the process of producing a print publication.

I am very eager to learn and expand my skills and horizons. I am a hardworking, highly motivated and easy-going person, and I strongly believe that, with the combination of my experience, education and motivation, I am the ideal candidate for this job and would make a very useful and worthwhile contribution to your organisation. Thank you for your time and consideration. I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,

Inga Abramian
