ABOUT

Concept: Piko is an art, fashion and lifestyle zine that I conceptualized as a passion project. The name "Piko" is derived from the Hawaiian word for "navel," which represents the centre and essence of something. The zine is designed to showcase emerging and established artists, designers, and creatives in a visually compelling and thought-provoking way. The content explores a range of topics, from fashion and art to travel and culture, and aims to inspire readers to explore their own creativity and embrace new experiences. With a mix of original photography, illustrations, and editorial content, Piko is a unique blend of art, fashion, and lifestyle, all presented in a beautifully designed package.

Execution: I've worked with Adobe illustrator for the graphics (digital and printed), Adobe XD for prototyping the site and Adobe After effects for the video /UI animations.

Resources: some of the imagery has been selected from Pinterest or other open source images bank such as: Pexels and Unsplash. Other photographs are my own, they've taken with a point and shoot camera.
