About me

Since graduating from University I gained valuable work experience by working as a freelance designer for a marketing and design company called Adstorm based in Lichfield. I then secured a six-month graduate placement with another Lichfield based company, Virtual Star. Both these work placements enabled me to increase my design skills, software knowledge and enhanced my task management ability.

Soon after completing my graduate placements, I secured full time employment as a graphic designer at a professional graphic design and marketing company; Empty Creative, based in central Birmingham. Here I designed for a range of prestigious clientele such as Channel 4, Brilliantly Birmingham and Screen West Midlands.

Since graduating with a 2.1 (BA Hons) in Graphic Communications, I have gained over eight years industry experience being employed in various design roles; most recently filling the role as Senior Creative Designer at Carillion plc. I believe that all good design should engage and communicate with people. I always ensure that I'm always on brief to deliver a fully considered idea-driven solution that's both relevant and beneficial to the client's business.

I am very passionate about design and I am always keen to develop my skills further by regularly learning new programmes and techniques in my free time.
