About me

Hi I'm a Nick, a Yorkshire born, London-based designer with a degree in graphic design from the University of Leeds and three years industry experience gained working in both agency and in-house environments.

I love the challenge of a good brief, from forming the problem to creating ideas and then bringing those ideas to life and have experience in leading briefs from start to finish as a creative lead and project manager.

I am a proficient operator of the Adobe CS suite and have also developed basic flash, html and css coding skills - enough to allow me to put my ideas into action. I have a good knowledge of print process and also digital media and have worked on projects across both.

Having recently returned from an incredible 6 months tour of South East Asia living on my wits and noodle soup, I am now looking forward to getting my head down to improve my design skills and progress with my career in an agency where I can develop and learn in a creative environment.

Retail - Junior Designer with retail agency producing POS, wayfinder graphics and brand giudelines. Clients included jessops and dixons., Academic - Graphic Designer with academic resource company, advertised to student market and became familiar with global academic market and services., Music/Events - Creative Director and Organisor for MiCasa Festival 2006, 2007, 2008. Designing sets, branding and identity, signage and websites.
