To Whom It May Concern: I am writing with regards to the above job reference, I enclose my CV and take this opportunity to summarise my CV. I am a graphics designer with excellent knowledge of marketing and creative design. I have recently finished my degree this year in Digital Media Arts BA (Hons), at University Of Bath. I chose to do a degree in Digital Media Arts BA (Hons), because I have always been interested in Graphics. This was primarily instigated through working at Computershare Investor Services (CIS) in the Creative department. This formed the basis for my choice of degree, and also allowed me to study and work part time whilst doing some freelance work. I have undertaken a variety of freelance projects such as Virtual Bristol, which was an Interactive website that was aimed at advertising businesses around Bristol. This opportunity allowed me to develop my pitching and communication skills. My final year project was implemented in conjunction with BMW, where I was required to design an interactive demo. This allowed me to use a variety of software packages from Adobe Creative suite to Final Cut Pro. The main skills I used whilst undertaking this project were communication, graphics design and marketing. These skills were utilised at CIS and whilst working on the Virtual Bristol website, I was able to develop these skills further whilst undertaking my final year project. I also performed several pitches to communicate the viability of my product to a variety of audiences. In summary I was able to achieve a First in this project. I also started to design an application for the IPhone using Xcode the application would have been Virtual Bristol so I started to learn everything my self and done all the designing in Adobe and made it practical. Having reviewed this job role I feel as though I am suitable to the position advertised because I have excellent experience with Adobe Creative Suite and with the particular software which is required for this role also have a great understanding of Flash and Dreamweaver. I also have excellent create print & online design solutions by themselves as well as with the team I have worked for a financial company before and would like to bring those skills to a new business. I find myself to be highly creative, imaginative and a hard working individual with a passion for creative design work. I also remain focused on the task when the challenge becomes tough. In addition I consider myself to be an organized, adaptable fast learner with a mature approach to my professional work. I am also resourceful and a good team player, this is demonstrated through my time working at Computershare Investor Services where I was working in a team. In summary I find myself to be a highly motivated and organised individual. I always strive for improvements in all aspects of my work, paying particular attention to innovation and forward thinking. I am particularly keen to take on board new challenges, and I am currently looking for an opportunity that will also develop my skill set further.
