Impressive PR was established in 1998 by Mel Brown. We cover all elements of media – Print, Online, TV and Radio for Music, Comedy, Personalities, Actors, Festivals and Events.

We are passionate about our clients, proactive in our approach and have a real understanding and knowledge of all things entertainment and media. We take pride in the coverage we generate because we realise that is what really counts.

COMEDY

We look after PR for DVD releases, TV shows, tours, Edinburgh Festival shows, book releases and festivals. We have looked after some of the most famous and critically acclaimed comedians in the world, such as Louis CK, Russell Brand, Jerry Seinfeld, Jack Whitehall, Joan Rivers, Jimmy Carr, Stewart Lee, Daniel Kitson, Aziz Ansari, Tig Notaro, Margaret Cho, Rhod Gilbert and Sarah Millican as well as some of the best new and emerging talent such as Nish Kumar, Michelle Wolf, Dane Baptiste, Michael Che, Tez Ilyas, Boy With Tape On His Face, James Acaster, Jess Robinson and Tiff Stevenson.

MUSIC

We are proud to represent many different types of music acts from emerging talent to heritage acts. Some of the legendary music acts we have handled publicity for include Coldplay, Muse, Snow Patrol, Human League, Bush, Sandie Shaw, Kraftwerk, Moloko, Morcheeba, Adamski, Paul Oakenfold, Carl Cox, So Solid Crew, David Essex, Kim Wilde, Dionne Warwick, Chic, The Osmonds, Blue, Stooshe, Rick Astley and more.

We are proud to have looked after a wide variety of new bands and emerging artists from all over the world such as Andreas Moss, Nambyar, KCPK, Chase Atlantic, Claude Violante, GOOSE,, Fake Blood, Boyz Noise, A Place To Bury Strangers, Film School, Milk & Bone, Pi-Ja-Ma, Adeem, The Sherlocks, Model Aeroplanes, The Gift, etc.

THEATRE

We have worked for many companies that include Assembly Theatre in Edinburgh on productions like ‘One Day When We Were Young’ starring Sam Underwood (Dexter) and Valorie Curry (Twlight), with Something Else Productions at the Gilded Balloon for ‘The Club’ – created and starring Ruaraidh Murray and many other Fringe productions. Other notable productions include kids show ‘Stickman’, the Fringe First winning ‘No Child’ and ‘The Strip’ for Scamp Productions, ‘A Team The Musical’ at the Gilded Balloon and ‘Gutted – A Revengers Musical’ starring Helen George for Assembly. We have also worked extensively with the Comedian’s Theatre company (started by Phil Nichol) on productions over the years these have included ‘Talk Radio’ directed by Stewart Lee, Breaker Morrant and ‘The Giant Leap’. Outside of Edinburgh credits include ‘About Miss Julie’ at the Kings Head starting Suzanne Shaw and ‘Gertrude’s Secret’ at the New End Theatre (Hampstead) starring Prunella Scales.

PERSONAL REPRESENTATION

We look after a range of personalities and consistently secure national press for our clients that have included Bradley Walsh, Helen George (Call The Midwife) Nancy Dell’olio, Suzanne Shaw, Rufus Hound, David Hasslehoff, Joan Collins, Alex Reid, Steve O (Jackass), Hannah Spearritt (for Casualty), Olivier nominated Amy Lennox (Kinky Boots /Lazarus), Immodesty Blaize, BGT winners Ashleigh & Pudsey, Collabro, Kim Wilde (CBB/Ru Paul’s Drag Race), Bobby Davro (CBB), Craig Young (The Last Ship) and many more.

FESTIVALS AND EVENTS

We are experts in handling the publicity for a variety of events and we are currently working with Pizza Express Live handling all the publicity for their new live venue in Holborn. We also have run teams at some of the largest entertainment and arts festivals in the world such as The Edinburgh Festival, Brighton Comedy Festival, Exit Festival, London Sketchfest, the Loaded Laftas, Just For Laughs London, MTV Ibiza as well as many others. This department also handles DVDs, books and more.

We have handle publicity for annual arts festivals such as Greenwich Winter Time Festival, prestigious annual awards such as the Chortle Comedy Awards, New Woman Beauty Awards, Nuts Magazine Party.

We have run the PR for tours that include the Best of British Variety, Once in a Lifetime Tours, Solid Silver 60s Tour and the Here and Now Tour, 80s Invasion featuring legends in their field.

We have also looked after the PR for one off events such as Stereophonics – A Day at the Races, Tatton Park Picnics, Creamfields, Ozfest and the Henley Business School BA for the Music Industry Creative Dynamic Series.
