About me
I am a confident Film, Theatre and Television graduate from the University of Reading currently working as a freelance broadcast assistant at BBC Radio Berkshire. Working in multiple fast-paced jobs since the age of 16, I have gained excellent communication skills and have the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Working for BBC Radio Berkshire has enhanced my skills in Microsoft Office, and my research, planning and organisational skills whilst also giving me the opportunity to work in a busy newsroom. Another desirable trait I learned from the BBC was the manner in which we wrote our radio content - it has to be clear, concise, and most importantly impartial- and gave me skills in writing for an older demographic. Furthermore, I have genuine interest in news surrounding lifestyle and current affairs, and what is trending online; I have taken great pleasure in writing articles for The Spark- the University newspaper, and for The Tab online, which gave me key skills in writing for strict deadlines, and creating content that meets the criteria specific demographics. I am also a keen blogger, and am always bursting with ideas. This shows my diverse range of writing styles, and ability to change tone when necessary, in relation to the target audience. I am keen to work and share my passion in writing with other professionals in the industry, learning the ways in which others write and bouncing ideas around creative minds.
I am also a competent internet researcher and have a solid understanding and capability of multiple social networking sites; as well as having a private Twitter account, I have personally set one up for my previous boss. I am Facebook savvy, and extremely confident with the use of Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and manage my own accounts in all of the above, which I check and update on a daily basis.
I believe my passion for social media marketing, and writing encompassing a range of interests will bring a positive contribution to a professional environment, along with my enthusiastic approach to any tasks, and my keenness to learn. In return I anticipate a gain of exciting industry experience whilst continuously learning and thriving.
