About me
Hi there! My name is Imogen Scoppie.
I graduated from De Montfort University last year with a First in Illustration. After that, I had a few months experience working for a games company called N Star Studios, where I helped to put out their first game- a spelling game for young children.
I have always been interested in how stories can be told in conjunction with images, whether it be through films, story books, sequential art, video games, etc. Learning how to effect someone simply through the design of a character or of an environment is something that has always held importance to me. These things do, in their own way, bring people together. There's nothing better than that to me!

Skills
I primarily use Adobe Photoshop to do my work, and have recently started to use Flash to make short animations. I can also use hands-on media like inks and watercolour pencils., As to what I work on, creating characters and character illustrations are what I like to focus on, as well as testing out how my characters would work as animations. When it comes to story-telling, I have create storyboards for brief animations too. I have also designed simple user interfaces before.
Sector Experience
I once worked for a small games development company called N Star Studios for 3 months. I was one of the two artists working there and I did a lot of illustrative work for the first game they put out, designing characters, in-game art, the user interface, storyboards, and working on the overall look of the game., I worked from home, but traveled down to the studio once a week for development meetings., I have also worked for touchrainbow Productions, creating sets of shots for still-frame animations. I worked from home and stayed in contact with the company via email.
