About me
Imo is a new writer for theatre, TV, and radio. Born in Wellow, Hampshire, and now working in London, her writing merges both rural and urban spaces. She is currently studying for an MFA in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She graduated with a first-class distinction and was awarded a gold medal for academic achievement in her BA in Drama and French at Trinity College Dublin.
Her new play, Bacon, is currently in development, with a rehearsed reading to be performed at RCSSD in May 2022; it explores the environment and the climate crisis, a topic which is predominant in much of her work. In May 2022, her short play Paternal was workshopped by Lisa Cagnacci, and her 3-part radio play Swallow's Nest premiered on Spotify in June 2021 as part of the Dublin University Players Summer Festival, Reverie.
