About me
My name is Ilaria Oberto and I am a freelance visual designer based in Hackney, London.
Since graduating with an MA in Graphic Design from the London College of Communication I have spent the last five years working as a Visual Designer for a vast array of clients; from start-ups to agencies, from global corporates to local independents. During this time I have been lucky enough to get involved in projects that were a real font of inspiration, in challenging yet exciting environments.
My portfolio has covered the creation of style guides in responsive environments, page architecture and interaction, prototyping and animation. I'm very comfortable working with UX and front-end teams but equally happy working directly with marketing strategists and experts.
I am primarily a User Interface (UI) designer however I have extensive experience in illustration, animation, 3D and type design. My multi-disciplined approach stems from the belief that in design there is no end to learning and this allows me to provide a broader perspective to my clients.
For each project I prioritise listening, I believe great design comes from the synthesis of the client's ideas and my own.
