About me
I'm Ike Muotoh, a 21 year old graphic design student from Slough in Berkshire. Apart from graphic design, I'm really interested in fashion; especially homegrown, British designers like Jonathan Saunders and Oliver Spencer. I love watching horror films and anything directed by Quentin Tarantino. I'm fascinated by Japanese manga and culture. In my spare time I run a weekly men's fashion and lifestyle blog, I design the layout and content. I'm a great team player, I enjoy working and collaborating with other creative minds however I'm quite comfortable working independently too.
As a student I use Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign CS5 almost everyday, from small personal projects to coursework. Typography is my main passion, I love being able to pick out the subtle differences between one typeface and another. If I had to pick a favourite it would have to be Gotham, I love it's versatility and it's influence on the design world. In 5 years time I would like to be working at a magazine as part of an art direction team.
Skills
I'm proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. As well as word-processing packages like Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. I'm currently learning Adobe Dreamweaver.
