About me

Ifunanya (Ify) Ugbogu

My previous employers will state that I am a great employee because I give new and fresh insight and perceptive into how to improve a company and attract customers. I aim to be part of an innovative team where I can use my skills to continue the ground-breaking work within companies that inspire me and I respect whilst being an addition to a company with such an excellent track record and a strong example of leadership.

I am currently studying at the University of Westminster in Contemporary Media Practice. I have an extensive expertise of Adobe softwares such as, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Bridge, Photoshop and Illustrator. Additionally, I have knowledge of Microsoft softwares such as PowerPoint, Word and Edexcel.

Giving back and volunteering is a significant part of my values and I participate in volunteering activities in my time, and I am excited to work for a company values the community as much as I do.

I pride myself on delivering good work, and being able to adapt to fortuitous and arduous tasks, an instance where I have shown leadership, is as a sales assistant for the high-end British clothing brand Jigsaw Clothing; one of my coworker's called in sick and my area manager was on holiday which left me the only employee working during a very busy weekend, I had to use my quick thinking skill to fix the situation, despite being a lower-level sales assistant I had to take on the role of a manager with no training. I called around for my coworkers whilst trying to assist customers in a pleasant and timely manner.

A creative project I have taken a leadership role in is in my college Photography lectures where I would be the head photographer and create ideas for shoot's as well as creating props and clothing to make sure the shoot came out at the best quality. I also strongly communicated well with my other team member's by guiding them when they were confused about a task, I instructed them to do in a kind and timely manner, this all leads to us accomplishing our task on time and producing quality work that awarded us high grades. I would love to be on a team that is collaborative, hardworking, and resourceful.

Furthermore, I have a dedication to education, as I find education a deeply important aspect of my life and hope to help other young people increase their knowledge. I would love to join your innovative team, continue to create great work, and grow within the company by learning new skills. I believe that what we learn within the workforce is just as important as what we learn within academia.
