About me

I'm originally from Ireland but have been living in lovely London for just over three years.

I graduated from Letterkenny IT in 2007 with with a Ba(Hons) in Digital Media Design & Production, awarded with First Class Honours.

Between November 2007 and December 2010, I have been worked with Global Radio (formerly GCap Media) originally as a designer, and as a senior designer for over a year. Amongst the biggest projects I have been involved with were the re-brand of 95.8 Capital FM and the re-design of the Classic FM website. Working commercially has seen me work with high profile clients such as Sony Ericsson, Nokia, O2, Vodafone, Microsoft Windows, British Airways, Paramount, Nike, Peugeot, Southern Comfort, Nintendo & X-Box.

I have also been involved in several Flash game designs and builds for some of the clients listed above.

A campaign involving X-Box & Global Radio, in which I was the creative lead, was recently featured in Creative Review and has also just won the AOP (Association of Online Publishers) Award for Commercial Partnership for 2010. I am also a Guinness World Record Holder, having designed the logo for the highest gig on earth, with Heart FM.

Some of my more recent duties at Global Radio have included managing the design team; delegating and overseeing projects and heading up the day to day running of the team. I have also interviewed, hired and am currently training a new members of staff.

My main skills are in Photoshop, Flash & Illustrator. As well as the Adobe suite, I know my way around audio & video programs such as Final Cut Pro & Pro Tools.

I am constantly striving to improve my skills and have attended the Flash based conference "Flash On The Beach" in Brighton for the past two years.

Currently I am seeking freelance opportunities both in and around Central London.
