About me

- I have over 30 years of business development and account handling, production,

project management and photographic experience.

- I have excellent communication skills, this is demonstrated in my dealings with local

and national accounts working with companies like the Co-operative, TBWA and Zara

UK. This includes presenting pitches to potential and existing clients, face-to-face

meetings and email and telephone communication.

- I have recently worked for a company that produces CGI and VR images so have a

good knowledge of new and emerging technologies.

- Since leaving college I have worked in the creative industries, which demonstrates

my passion for creativity. An example of this would, dealing with the Nissan Europe

account for TBWA. Supply of 65 point of sale units for Nissan across Europe. I

project managed this, ensuring the job was delivered to time and budget, ensuring

that the highest quality was attained throughout.

- I consider myself to be a creative person with a photographer's eye. I worked in

numerous photographic studios. Undertaking all aspects of photographic work for

clients such as Crown Wall Papers and Next Interiors. More recently my shots have

been used in company brochures and websites.

- I am fully computer literate, experienced at using both a PC & Mac and have a good

working knowledge of the following: SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design and

the Microsoft Office.

- I have strong organisational skills and this can be demonstrated by the projects that

I have led on. The Co-operative Society was an account that I managed. This was

a mobile fully functioning kitchen that was used to promote the launch of the

membership department. 16 events across the UK including set up and dismantle. I

was responsible for the project so it was vital that I was organized so that the kit

could be in the place in order to meet the timetable schedule.

- I am dedicated to my own self-development, an example of this is a recent course

that I completed last year in Basic Web Design. I am very interested in technology

and am self-taught in SketchUp and Photoshop. I pick things up quickly and am

always curious to know more, often carrying out my own research into a new product

or new technology.

- I am a self-motivated person who works well with others. I am have demonstrated

this by working as part of a small team when dealing with large jobs when flexibility

and innovation were needed. As a small team, we often needed to bring in and

work with outsourced suppliers. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team was

key to the success of the jobs, ensuring that the client's needs were met and that

the company remained profitable.
