About me

Ross Taylor is Chief Creative Officer at Havas Play, with 18 years' experience leading culture-led creative work across sport, partnerships and brands while championing greater inclusivity across the industry.

Throughout his career, Ross has helped brands earn meaningful roles within culture, delivering award-winning work for Adidas, Formula E, Suzuki, Barclays, BRITA, Pizza Hut, KFC, EE, HSBC and Jet2. His work has been recognised by Cannes Lions, Clio Sport, Creative Circle and Campaign, and in 2026 he was named one of Campaign's 40 Over 40. Alongside his agency career, Ross is a published cultural commentator through an LGBTQ+ lens, mentors emerging talent and is co-founder and sole illustrator of the award-winning homeware brand The Curious Department.

An openly gay creative leader, Ross has consistently used creativity to broaden representation in sport and advertising. From leading the rebrand of Rainbow Laces to creating Aiko, the AI-generated openly gay footballer launched during the Qatar World Cup, his work has demonstrated how creativity can challenge convention while creating genuine cultural impact.
