Dear Sir/Madam

In 2007 I gained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design at De Montfort University in Leicester and I am now seeking immediate employment.

The degree course helped me to refine my creative and communicational skills and has highlighted strengths in areas such as my presentation and technical abilities. Over the past 3 years I have gained a vast amount of knowledge in all areas Interior Design related. An interest in topics such as commercial and retail design, inscape design and cross media took hold and my work in these areas always presented greater satisfaction. The prospect of further involvement in such activities is very exciting. As a recent graduate I am always open to learning new skills.

Furthermore, I would like to add that I work well with others and would bring a well disciplined but friendly personality to any design team environment. I would welcome the opportunity and enjoy the challenge of working within your organisation. It is my belief that I am able to effectively meet the requirements expected of me.

I found my degree an enjoyable yet challenging experience both academically and socially. I believe that I will gain the same amount of satisfaction from the advertised position.
