About me
Senior copywriter, consultant and thought leadership expert with over 25 years of experience as a professional writer. I have written for blue-chips and start-ups, as well as having written features for every UK newspaper. I currently work at Director level, consulting with founders, owners, CEOs and C-suite staff, as well as ghost-writing for executive teams. I advise top level staff on personal branding, PR and profile, attend meetings with senior managers and offer advice on comms, strategy and ideas, as well as being realistic about media coverage goals within most budgets.
I am known as someone who has original ideas more often than most copywriters have cups of tea. I am also adept at being concise when called for, or exploring the art of long form when that is what makes sense. I am currently working most in the data and SDG space. I am an expert in writing copy for the architecture, construction, home-improvements and design markets, but can race ahead of most in whatever topic you choose.
I enjoy writing on the arts, data, SDGs, culture, history and people and I also Director of a company that works on social histories. I have written two books for major publishers, given keynotes at many universities and conferences and am always happy to talk about what I can do for you, whether you are a business, charity, quango or individual.
