About me
I am writing to apply for the freelance designer position, I've seen the job announcement at and I would like to signify my intention to apply for the position.
I am enthusiastic about storytelling through the multiple formats of visual work, which I believe is the most powerful way of branding. I first studied visual communication design at a specialised high school, the Korean Animation High School. After I found out that my strength is in illustration at the school, I dreamed of starting up my own particular character brand and began this project at Korea Creative Content Agency for more than a year where I was highly motivated to keep track of the power and the potential of visual storytelling for a new digital media.
With a degree in digital media design from Hongik University, I was trained in UI/UX design to bridge user research into UI/UX and developed my passion for multi format visual storytelling. Right after I graduated I started working for a creative animation studio, 'Locus' in Korea for 1-2 years. Even though I have not gained more than 3 years agency experience, I strongly believe my solid education, work experience and enthusiasm for visual storytelling would make me an ideal candidate for the freelance designer for both web and print ready art work.
