About me

I am a Brazilian graphic designer currently living in London and
seeking employment. I am eligible to work in the UK and hold a valid
work visa. For 12 years I worked at one of Rio de Janeiro's best known
design studios, 19 Design, rising to the level of partner in 2004.
Working mostly on cultural and editorial projects I had the chance to
participate, as an active member of the graphic design team, on a wide
range of projects, acquiring extensive design and production
experience, as demonstrated by my virtual portfolio
(hugorafaeldesign.com). I also have a strong magazine design experience
having been responsible for the design direction of Expressions, a
bi-monthly publication for the American Express Cards, since 2003.I am
a strong team player, used to working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven
environment. I am comfortable working under pressure, prioritising a
large and varied workload, and I am familiar with the management and
administration of a small but busy organisation.
