Dear Hiring Manager

My name is Huang He, I am writing to you to apply for the position of a web designer in your company. This letter will provide you the brief information of my educational background as well as my professional achievements.

I finished my Masters in University of Edinburgh and my undergraduate in University of Wales, Aberystwyth. I obtained 2:1 in my undergraduate studies.

I am comfortable coding with HTML and CSS in W3C standard and I am trained in Adobe creative packages such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and my expertise in the web development workflow covers from start to the finish. As the technologies never stop moving forward, I always keep tune with current web-design trends and techniques.

During my work in Digivate, I worked in a fast-paced agency environment; it gained my experience of web development with commercial CMS systems like Joomla or Magento.

In my employment with MOFILM Ltd, I undertook the following responsibilities in the organization:

Creation of varied design prototypes for web or print;

Created visual concepts for the content and build websites using technologies that conform to W3C standards to ensure the user experience;

Social media development and Marketing;

Material translation
Throughout I was responsible for maintaining and updating the websites and undertook any tasks during the development process. The past experience gained my experiences of dealing with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.) and extensive knowledge of working in a Mac/PC environment; It increased my understanding in the importance of customer-service orientation and hold creativity in problem solving; It also trained my ability to work in a team and to communicate in a clear way to share any helpful information with staff and faculty.
