About me

I have recently graduated in July 2008 with a first class honours degree in Graphic Design from The University of York.

Whilst I was at University, I gained professional experience with two companies; Scarborough Design and GML Creative. Over the past two years I have frequently done freelance work for them.

During my third year I worked two days a week with Scarborough Design. My role was to produce artwork for exhibition graphics, interiors, company literature and business stationery for clients such as The University of York and The National Science Learning Centre. I frequently attended client meetings, dealt with printers and suppliers alongside my other duties.

After I graduated, my experience and proven diligence initiated an offer of a full-time with Scarborough Design.

Since this post I have continued to work closely with GML Creative, producing designs for a range of clients who expect a high quality design that is produced efficiently.

I feel the professionalism of my portfolio shows that I have a great commercial understanding of all aspects of design.

I am now wanting to gain more experience and progress my career.
