About me

Hi, I'm Holly, an extremely dedicated and passionate product designer. I graduated from the University of Huddersfield with a 2:1 (Hons) in Product Design this summer. I am eager to get into the industry full time and put into practice what I love doing, designing. I am looking for a position as a product design / developer or packaging design / developer.

The course broadened my skills with its diversity. Subject areas completed included contextual studies, visual techniques, creative thinking, advanced computer aided visualisation, behavioural and cultural issues, professional practice awareness, design for manufacture, research planning and design projects. I can work confidently with Office software, Photoshop, 3D Studio Max, Solidworks and Adobe Premier. I have experience with AutoCAD and Alias. I can use both PC's and MAC's.

Since graduating I have worked part time as a product design consultant for a marketing company where I design packaging. This involves research, sketching and developing ideas and creating card models. This has increased my confidence in my design skills and ability to communicate professionally.
