About me
With over 5 years experience in Digital Design, I currently head up the Design Team at a young start up company based in Central London. My experiences from being an intern right through to managing a design team gives me a good base both creatively and mentally.
I have a degree in Architectural Studies from Newcastle University. Three years of Architectural education has allowed me to develop a multitude of skills that aid my design. It was my passion for interactivity within buildings that fuelled my desire to become an UX Designer. I wanted to not only understand how people interact with space around them, but also how they react to an online environment. I am a passionate advocate of Alan Coopers Goal Directed Design methodology and try to use this as a basis for all my design thinking.
On a personal level I am friendly, hardworking and always the first in and last out of the studio. I love a challenging fast paced environment and thrive when working under pressure. I have a strong interest in photography, textiles and will always have a huge passion for the built environment.
I live and breath design, however much of a cliche that sounds, and have a thirst for the new and exciting.
