About me
I am a final year undergraduate student at the University of Birmingham, who is seeking opportunities for career progression, post-graduation.
Within my studies at university, I have taken modules in all business aspects, including Brand Marketing, Project Management, Financial Reporting, and Business Strategy. I am predicted to graduate in May 2019 with a First Class BSc Business Management degree.
I am currently employed by DanceXchange as a Customer and Administration Assistant. I am responsible for completing admin tasks to a high standard, which support logistics and operations. I also have responsibilities for the safeguarding of children, cash handling, and meeting and exceeding sales targets.
During the Summer of 2018, DanceXchange held the Birmingham International Dance Festival. I was heavily involved in the planning and execution stages of the event, with a focus on completing marketing and PR activities. I have also volunteered at Birmingham Hippodrome, where I completed Front of House duties, and communicated with customers of all levels.
My previous employment opportunities have provided me with a profound knowledge of the Arts sector. They have fuelled my passion for theatre and performing arts, and encouraged me to obtain a professional career in this field. I am a committed and driven individual, with excellent organisation skills and a strong work ethic. I thrive in a fast-paced environment and am passionate about making the arts accessible to a wider audience.
