About me
I am a new graduate from the University of Plymouth, where I have been studying Graphic Communication with Typography and am eager to start working in the design field. Communication of ideas and information through effective and appropriate means is my biggest interest in terms of design. It is my belief that aesthetic is governed by the content of the communication in question and I enjoy exploring and finding the most fitting aesthetic outcomes for all of my projects. Book design is a particular interest of mine.
My degree in Graphic Communication with Typography gives me particular skill in type setting, which becomes especially important when dealing with the correlation and communication of information.
During my last project on my degree course, I chose to re-brand and promote the public library, creating signage, promotional posters and other material, stationery, a complete guideline book for use of the facilities, and a magazine, communicating upcoming events, groups and items new in stock. One of the promotional posters from this project caught the eye of the Vice Chancellor of the University of Plymouth, who requested a framed, signed copy for her office.
