About me

I am currently working at Directors Cut Films as an Edit/Technical Assistant. My role involves ingest and playout to tapes. Basic audio and visual edits on both FCP and Avid. Media management, record reports, conforms for online edits etc. I deal with taped media and tapeless media every day, in both SD and HD formats.

Before working at Directors Cut I was working at MTV in Camden as an Edit Assistant/MCR Asst.

This involved digitising from various formats, playouts to tape, file exports, ingesting, QC etc. Whilst at MTV I also had the chance to develop my avid & FCP skills with basic edits, audio ad Visual.

I am confident using Unity and Avid Media Composer, and also happy digesting etc on both SD and HD formats. File transfers, the use of FTP sites are daily tasks for me.

Each day I have to be ready to work along side and with clients, ranging from producers/directors to Artists and their management, something of which I have become very confident doing.

I am happy performing tasks on my own or as part of a team, and willing to work various shift patterns
