About me

Dear selection committee

My name is Helga and I am a shoe and accessories designer. I have a BA in this field from Rome and 4 years of professional experience in footwear design for a high street retail brand and the wholesale industry in London. Illustrating has been something I have done since I can remember myself. Only recently I have been freelancing as an illustrator. I have discovered that it has brought me such enjoyment that it would be a pity not to take it further. Therefore I would be really excited to be considered for this project.

My strengths lie in being highly creative, positive, and humorous. I am structured and work well within a team but also have the drive to work independently, criticise, and make decisions. Furthermore, my understanding of the technical and commercial side enables me to come up with good technical solutions to creative or conservative designs. I also enjoy presenting and explaining ideas, moods, and designs.

I would love to know more about this role and honoured to meet in person to see if we could be a match.
