This position caught my attention and I feel that I have the skills required for this role. I have over 8 years experience in Graphic Design and DTP, which I have fully enjoyed and am now seeking a new challenge in.

In my current position of Graphic Designer/Account Manager within CJA Group, a successful Recruitment Advertising agency, I am responsible for designing and setting adverts for clients, along with proof checking, advising on media, negotiating rates with publications, estimating prices, booking and sending final artwork. I also assist in the training of junior members of the advertising team where needed.

For almost 5 years previously, I was the in-house Graphic Designer for AC Yule & Sons, a manufacturing company with 6 divisions over the UK, creating all company literature. On a daily basis I would create internal and external newsletters, the company magazine, adverts, posters, brochures, leaflets, stationery, H&S information booklets and vehicle livery. I would also content manage the company website and create graphics for web. I completed these projects from start to finish largely on my own initiative. As well as designing, I would source text and images, liaise with sales staff, organise photographers, negotiate cost effective print prices, proof read and through to organising print.

In addition, I also have one years experience in Desk Top Publishing working within the Financial Sector for Aberdeen Asset Management, where tight deadlines and great attention to detail were a big part of the job.

I feel that my experience gained in my previous positions would allow me to be an asset within your company and that I have the relevant enthusiasm for the position
