About me

For several years, during my teaching work and as part of my postgraduate studies, I have been creating interactive learning solutions for my students. These have involved coding using actionscript 2, and recently 99% of my work involves actionscript 3.

As part of my studies at Coventry University, I have researched and worked on learning theory, semiotics and project planning.

I have carried out a number of projects at Coventry University to tight deadlines whilst also woking full time as a teacher in the Solihull district.

I regularly use Flash, Photoshop Illustrator, and audio/visual software packages and can also use other Adobe packages and Microsoft Packages including Excel, which I use for accounts and planning, and word, for producing letters and reports.

Within the Flash application, I have worked on time-based, frame-based and physics-based animation using both motion tweening and actionscript for frame-based animation, and actionscript for the latter types. I have worked on different event listeners including keyboard input, sound, video, mouse and time. I am always looking to improve and develop my skills in Flash and hope to start looking at the Flash CS4 package in the near future.

Currently, I am due to finish my Solihull teaching job in the next week in order to concentrate on my digital work and I am looking for positions where I can utilise Flash and interactive multimedia techniques.
