About me

With over a decade in the design and advertising industry, I have gained a wide range of skills and experience that allow me to take on any role.

My skills include a solid knowledge of Adobe software, Sketch, typography, illustration, motion graphics and video editing. I'm a great multi tasker who is incredibly time efficient also. This has recently led me into the world of TV, where I have produced some work for the upcoming Netflix Derren Brown special.

I've taken complete responsibility over clients, as well as worked closely with others as part of a team, in agencies with a workforce as small as three and as large as several hundred.

I thoroughly enjoy being involved from the concept stage of an idea, right through to the final execution, and with every project I aim to bring something different.

I'm always striving to improve myself as a creative designer, which often involves signing up to workshops, such as screen printing and sign writing, in my spare time, as well as taking trips overseas to creative and design conferences, a personal favourite being Dublin's annual OFFSET.

Whilst undertaking my degree, I embraced the opportunity to study abroad at the Massachusetts College of Art & Design in Boston. During the semester spent there, I explored other areas outside of Graphic Design, including digital photography and letterpress printing.

Taking advantage of the close proximity to New York, I would often spend long weekends there attending seminars by designers such as Stefan Sagmeister and Erik Spiekermann, as well as making contacts that later led to some freelance work.

I grew up in Hong Kong and have always enjoyed travelling, whether it's making trips back to Asia to see family and friends or avoiding tarantulas in the Amazon rainforest. The experience of growing up in a melting pot of cultures has definitely influenced my work, and I love to use Hong Kong as the subject matter of my work where possible.
