About me

I'm getting myself back out there after celebrating my 20 year anniversary in my previous role. Newspapers are my first love, and having seen so many changes in how we produce them it is disappointing that the industry is shrinking. So it's time for a new challenge and I'm not going to lie - It's scary! I'm an artist at heart and love the hands on approach; I enjoy painting and drawing but I'm just as happy with my Adobe packages. I'm looking for a position where I can work in a team with other designers and create work clients will be proud of. I love print because it is tangible; you can hold it in your hand and say 'I helped make that'. I have always been proud of what I produced at Newbury Weekly News, and over the years we have won many industry awards. I hope to find a rewarding job and welcome the new challenges it will bring.
