About me
I am interested in applying for the roles within Interior Design/Architecture. I am currently working as an interior Designer in an Architect firm in Manchester. I design for a large restaurant fast food chain and I am looking for a job either within the same field where I can use my expertise or I am also interested in gaining experience in other areas of design.
I am based in Manchester however I would be happy to relocate if the appropriate role was offered.
I am an extremely committed and enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn.
I am very proactive and can either work on my own initiative or within a team and I am used to liaising with franchisees, members of construction, project managers and suppliers.
I am looking forward to an exciting future career and will give 100% in whatever I decide to do.
Skills
AutoCAD. Photoshop. Illustrator. Microsoft Power Point. Hand Rendering. Indesign. Technical Drawing. Microsoft Office.Outlook., I am also getting to grips with Revit on my personal computer, as it is a program that I feel is becoming such a factor in helping with communication within the construction business although I have not had the opportunity to practice in any of my interior design jobs to date. It is at a basic level at the moment but I am keen to progress to a high level., 3D Max. 3D Viz.Apple works. SketchUp. - Have used it during university, would need a refresher only.
Sector Experience
Store fit/ Store planning. Working to ensure that sites are built to a highly secure level and therefore learning the regulations to suit.Client liaison to discuss minor works for branches, light refresh and separating under utilised space.Travelling to various locations throughout the United Kingdom & Channel Islands., Producing full package of drawings from stage one to construction. Producing external and internal layouts, introducing extensions and possible reconfiguration of toilets. Adhere to building regulations. meet tight deadlines., Actively taking part in evening and lunchtime CPD’s to further my knowledge, from Balustrades to cladding to photography, and taking part in CDMC training which helps understand communication and health and safety in a working environment as a whole.
