About me
I wish to express how I am extremely interested in the position advertised. I feel that I am an excellent candidate with my strong English and Japanese with good communication skills.
I have been studying Japanese for the past six years and have spent two years abroad living in Nagoya and Nagasaki. Whilst in Japan I worked in a tight-knit team of teachers who often relied upon me as an interpreter at official events and translator for important documents. I have recently applied for a Masters in Japanese Translation through a correspondence course at Portsmouth University to improve my already high-level of Japanese and regularly attend Japanese conversation classes. I have impressive skills with Microsoft Office, Word and Powerpoint and have extensive experience using Excel and Access. At college I studied English language and literature and have a high command of prose writing.
In review of the objectives and possible openings, I believe that my experience and expertise is perfectly suited to your current needs.
