About me

Design Experience

Working alongside the client, from the brief, to find the best solution to their communication requirements. I have designed and visualised pieces of promotional literature, corporate brochures, catalogues, logos and corporate branding, packaging and advertising for clients such as Cadburys, Cadbury World, Thomas Cook, Kays, 3g Comms to name but a few.

Artwork Experience

Once a design has been approved I have been responsible for producing the artwork, applying my technical expertise on an Apple Mac platform utilising the most up to date software applications including: Quark Xpress 6, Adobe Photoshop CS, Adobe Illustrator CS and Adobe In Design CS and Macromedia Freehand 10 - working to timescales and deadlines required.

Printing Experience

I work in liaison with printers on a near daily basis and have strong links gained over the years with many reputable printers. Providing them with accurate finished artwork whether it's a complex 200+ page catalogue or single colour business card.

Art Direction Experience

I have been responsible for the Art Direction of many photographic shoots - from kitchens to jewellery - from food to fire extinguishers. Over the years I have maintained strong relationships with several photographers, choice of which to use usually dependent on client's budget and their availability.

Web Design Experience

I have worked alonside technical programmers, providing the client with the design concept, look feel and functionality.
