About me

I am currently working in Barcelona as the Marketing and Communications Manager for a design company, primarily in the high-end designer furniture market. This has included organising exhibitions, printed marketing communications, developing the branding, PR and writing the website.

I am hardworking, a good problem solver and like to use my initiative. I would like to work back in the UK for personal reasons, in the field of marketing. I am also highly organised and a good planner and would consider other roles which took these abilities into account. I am currently studying the CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing and have a degree in Law. Whilst at University I also used my spare time to follow my interest in marketing: I worked for The Guardian as a student brand manger, a law firm doing marketing research and press and a Club night responsible for the marketing and promotion. I also spent one year working in Commercial Operations for our Students Union, which had a turnover of £7million, this gave me further commericial experience to draw on. I am well travelled, having lived in Japan, Spain and New Zealand.
