Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to you to apply for the Junior Designer position advertised. My CV outlines my education details and work experience in more depth, but I would like to draw to your attention the experience I have working at IO Publishing on InOut magazine. I had to create page layouts and adverts through to the print ready stage. This has required me to have strong layout, typography and attention to detail skills. I have also done some freelance work in which I have created logos, literature and vector based illustrations for companies. As well as having the technical knowledge you require, I believe I also possess valuable personal qualities. I am extremely hardworking and always welcome a challenge. I enjoy a busy environment and would be so excited by the prospects of developing my design skills further.
