About me

I am an illustrator and graphic designer who studied fashion design at University for the Creative Arts: Epsom. I have developed a high level of technical skills which when applied to my strong interest in current cultural and societal issues, empowering individuals and redefining beauty standards creates youthful, fun garments. I am inspired by journalistic photography and videography that focuses on the lives of people which inform the concepts behind my work and translates into my print work. I enjoy experimenting with new materials and ways of manipulating them, which is shown in my final collection in which I used silicone. As well as my design and construction skills, I have developed a great interest in layout design, graphics and illustration.

I have gained experience working within Fashion PR and design during my time at university, taking on internships at December PR, Jade Kang and Olya Shishkina. My roles at Kang and Shishkina, varied from sample machinist, pattern cutter, student assistant, and print design assistant. I have had my tailoring project work and illustration work showcased in exhibitions within the university. I was also internally shortlisted within the university to be entered into the ID Diversity Now competition.

I am looking for designer roles within fashion design, but I am skilled in many different areas, including pattern cutting, print development, illustration and graphic design.
