About me

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing with regards to the role of Designer/Artworker, Yorkshire and Humberside. Reference: 2941AH as seen and on the Creative Pool career website. Please find attached my CV which gives further information on my work experiences.

I am a Junior Designer, with previous experience working within the Greetings Cards Industry, with a 2:1 in BA Textiles (hons) specialising in print design. My previous role at Budget Greeting Cards Ltd involved working to a brief to design greetings cards and gift bags using Photoshop and Illustrator for Mac. The fast paced environment at BGC has developed my ability to work under pressure, complete work precisely, organise and prioritise my time, setting targets required to meet tight deadlines. I feel these personal attributes enable me to work effectively as a designer.

Given my experience within the Greetings Card Industry, academic background and design work, I feel I have the technical skills, understanding of the market, the passion and the commitment to undertake the role of Designer successfully and I am excited about the prospect of beginning a career within the greeting card and paper craft industry.
